Franklin Street

This project was our first major refurb. The agent's details humorously described this property as "tired". This property reeded a full refurbishment from top to bottom. It included a new kitchen, carpeting and a full overhaul.

Wyre Court

Wyre Court was purchased just before the financial crash of 2007/8. The property is a studio apartment to which absolutely nothing had been done since it was built 32 years earlier. We did a full refurb on this property including a new kitchen, and carpets. We also replaced the electric storage heaters and raised the EPC level to make it legally compliant. We intended to buy, refurb and flip this property and move on to the next. Because the financial crash was in full swing nobody could get a sensible mortgage. We ended up putting it in our portfolio and it is our most profitable property for funds employed.

Lion Court

This is property is fairly new so you might ask why it needed refurbishment? It is our top-of-the-range investment. The answer because it was seriously trashed by a tenant and his wife. Damage included ripping out light fittings, smashing furniture, cooking oil in the curtains, destroying the carpets to list a few issues. Damage was so extensive that we could not rent for some time while this major refurbishment was in progress.
